|
Hibernoma is a rare benign tumor. It arises from brown adipose tissue, which promotes nonshivering thermogenesis. We present a case of hibernoma in the axilla and review the literature. Although it is not common, hibernoma should be considered in the differential diagnosis of lipomatous soft-tissue tumors. (J Korean Surg Soc 2008;75:455-457)
